Where we run

Johnston County, North Carolina — and the two highways that cut through the middle of it. If you’re on I‑95 or US‑70 anywhere near Smithfield, you’re in range.

The corridor

Two highways cross in our back yard

Smithfield sits at the junction of I‑95 and US‑70. That interchange is why a Florida plate and a Johnston County plate end up on the same shoulder at the same hour — and why we're set up to reach both fast.

I‑95 — exits 90 through 107, from Benson up past Kenly. Shoulder work here is dangerous and we treat it that way: arrow board on, and we don't let you stand in the traffic lane.

US‑70 — Garner and Clayton in the west, out through Pine Level and Princeton in the east.

NC‑210, NC‑96, US‑301 and the county roads — the two-lanes and dirt drives that a dispatcher in another state won't send a truck down. We will.

Places we go regularly

  • Smithfield

    Home. The yard is on Freedom Rd, minutes from the I-95 and US-70 interchange.

  • Selma

    Five minutes up I-95. A short run for us, day or night.

  • Clayton

    West on US-70, including the Highway 42 corridor and the neighbourhoods off it.

  • Four Oaks

    South on I-95, plus the county roads either side of exit 90.

  • Benson

    The bottom of the county, where I-95 meets I-40.

  • Princeton

    East on US-70 toward the Wayne County line.

  • Pine Level

    Between Smithfield and Princeton on US-70 and old US-301.

  • Wilson’s Mills

    Just west of town — often the closest call we get.

  • Kenly

    North on I-95 at exit 106, truck stops included.

  • Micro

    Small place, still on our list.

  • Archer Lodge

    Northwest of Clayton, off NC-42 and Buffalo Rd.

  • Garner

    The Johnston County edge of Garner, west along US-70.
