What we come out for
Eight things we do, and a short list of the things we won’t pretend to do. If your problem isn’t here, call anyway — odds are we’ve seen it.
-
Light and medium duty towing
Cars, pickups, vans, SUVs and small box trucks. Wheel-lift and tow-bar work, handled the way the manufacturer wants it handled — all-wheel-drive and low-clearance cars included. Tell us where it needs to end up: your shop, your driveway, the dealer, or the auction lot.
-
Jump starts
A battery that died in a Food Lion parking lot doesn't need a tow. We come out, get it turning, and tell you honestly whether it's the battery, the alternator or the terminals — so you know whether to drive straight to a parts store.
-
Vehicle lockouts
Keys on the seat with the engine running. A child or a dog shut inside. We use proper lockout tools, not a coat hanger, so your weatherstripping, paint and door frame come out of it the same way they went in.
-
Flat tire changes
We'll put your spare on at the roadside and get you moving. If the spare is flat too, the wheel is bent, or you're on a highway shoulder where changing a tire isn't safe, we'll tow it to a tire shop instead.
-
Fuel delivery
Gas or diesel, enough to get you to the nearest station under your own power. Cheaper and faster than a tow, and you keep your keys the whole time.
-
Winch-outs and extraction
Off the shoulder, nose-down in a drainage ditch, buried in a wet field, or slid off a dirt road. We rig it so the pull comes off the frame and recovery points — not off your bumper cover.
-
Accident recovery
After a collision we work alongside the Highway Patrol and Johnston County deputies to clear the scene and get traffic moving. We photograph the vehicle, sweep up, and we'll talk to your insurance adjuster directly so you don't have to.
-
Local and long distance transport
Across Smithfield, over to Raleigh or Goldsboro, or out of state. Give us the pickup and the drop-off and you'll get a flat price before we load anything.
Straight answer
What we won't take
We're a small, owner-run outfit. Sending the wrong truck helps nobody, so here's where we stop — and we'll point you to someone who can handle it.
Too heavy
Loaded semis
Wrong equipment
Heavy machinery
Not our trade

Questions we get every week
Are you really open at 3am?
Yes. The phone is answered around the clock, every day of the year, holidays included. If we're already under a vehicle and miss the call, we ring you back.
How big a vehicle can you tow?
Light and medium duty — cars, pickups, vans, SUVs and small box trucks. Loaded tractor-trailers and heavy equipment need a bigger rig than ours.
Will I know the price first?
Before the truck leaves. The number depends on how far it's going, what you're driving, and how much work it takes to get it loaded. You'll hear all of that up front.
How do I pay?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. On an accident recovery we can bill your insurance company directly.
Can you tow an all-wheel-drive car?
Yes — tell us when you call so we bring the right setup. Towing an AWD car on two wheels is how drivetrains get ruined.
My car is on private property. Can you move it?
If you own the vehicle or the property, yes. Bring proof of one or the other and we'll take care of it.
What to have ready
Thirty seconds of prep gets the truck to you faster.
- Where you are
- Cross street, mile marker, exit number, or the name of the business you're parked at.
- What you're driving
- Year, make, model — and whether it's all-wheel drive.
- What it's doing
- Won't crank, won't move, flat, or in a ditch.
- Where it's going
- A shop, your house, or you're not sure yet. That's fine too.
- A callback number
- The phone you're actually holding.
Describe it and we'll tell you straight
Even if the honest answer is that you don't need a tow truck at all.
